FAQ’s

  • Are you licensed?

While there is not a specific license in Oklahoma for general outdoor living companies, we do  have multiple certifications. It isn’t a requirement, but we like to keep our team well trained in the latest products and industry standards.

  • Are you insured?

Yes, we carry all the necessary insurance policies, including general liability and workers compensation.

  • What is the difference between landscaping and hardscaping?

Landscaping refers to living, soft elements like plants, trees, and grass. Hardscaping involves the non-living, structural features like paver patios, retaining walls, and walkways.

  • Will my project require a permit?

This question depends entirely on the project specifics. For example, a fire pit or outdoor kitchen does not require a permit, but running natural gas lines or electricity to these elements often does.

  • Will my pavers sink?

With the appropriate excavation, base work and compaction, your patio should not sink.

  • What is the difference between a pergola and a patio cover (sometimes referred to as a pavilion)?

A traditional pergola has an open-slat roof designed for partial shade. A covered patio features a solid, complete continuous roof designed to protect from rain and other weather elements.

  • What is the best material for a retaining wall?

For most retaining wall applications, segmental retaining wall blocks are the best choice. There are other feasible options, but segmental block walls offer flexibility for almost any shape and size wall. When installed correctly by a well trained team, segmental retaining walls will outlast most other common products.
